Bill Nash: ActorThere are many reasons driving Bill Nash to pursue acting as a career, including the pleasure of performing and working with what he calls 'playful' people. He started acting at school and continued through university where he was part of the National Student Theatre Company. Not completely sure he wanted to be a professional actor, Bill was encouraged when he won an award at the Edinburgh Festival for his role in a play called Carnival Street. Since then, he has gone on to drama school and acted in many theatre and television productions, including playing a Buckingham Palace reporter in the James Bond film Die Another Day! Although recently Bill has been getting a lot of acting work, he admits that sometimes he resorts to writing economic and marketing reports for various companies to supplement his income. In Bristol Old Vic's Beasts and Beauties he played Bluebeard and many other parts in new versions of ancient folk and fairy tales as a member of an eight-strong ensemble. | | |
